Post-Employment Services
When
the employment relationship ends, Employment Systems processes
all of the termination activity and the post employment administration
and record keeping. We maintain the employment files at our
location and keep payroll and benefit records for the required
periods of time. Our actual services in this area include:
- Employment
Systems administers the employment termination process,
whether separation is due to a resignation by the employee,
by the end of an internship period (as in Ambulance Operator
program), or by an involuntary separation initiated by the
client.
- Employment
Systems coordinates the COBRA administration process for
employees who have medical or dental insurance.
- If
separation process results in a request for unemployment
insurance benefits, Employment Systems administers the response
to the claim, and initiates an appeals process when appropriate.
- Employment
Systems provides on-going employment verification after
an employee has separated, such as when applying for a new
job, home mortgage, or other reason for employment verification.
- If
an on-the-job injury has occurred, Employment Systems provides
on-going coordination with its worker compensation insurance
carrier for claims management purposes in post-employment
status.
- Employment
Systems maintains an employee's employment, payroll
and benefits records in compliance with schedules established
by State and Federal law.
